Delete your account

You can delete your Sallony account at any time. This page explains how, and what is removed.

From within the app

  1. 1 Open the Sallony app and sign in.
  2. 2 Go to the “My account” tab.
  3. 3 Scroll to the bottom and tap “Delete account”.
  4. 4 Read the warning, then confirm with your password.

We ask for your password because deletion is permanent and cannot be undone — so that an unlocked phone in someone else’s hands cannot erase your account.

What is deleted

Your name, phone number and email address.
Your profile photo.
Your accumulated loyalty points.
Devices registered to receive notifications.

What is retained

Financial records of completed transactions — invoices and payments — are retained for five years, as required by Egyptian tax and commercial law. They are kept in a form that does not identify you wherever that is possible.

Before you delete

Deletion is refused in two cases, and the app tells you which:

You have an active booking — cancel it or wait until it is over, since the salon is holding that slot for you.
You have a wallet balance — contact us to settle it first, since deleting it would mean taking your money.

Cannot access the app?

Write to us from the email address on your account, or from any address quoting your registered phone number. We verify your identity before acting, and respond within thirty days at the latest.
