Terms of Use — Sallony

Effective date: 7 September 2026

Version: 1

1. Definitions

For the purposes of these Terms, the following words shall have the meanings set out beside them:

"the Platform" or "Sallony": the Sallony mobile application, the website sallonye.com, and the services connected to them.
"the Company": OmiraTechnology, a limited liability company registered in the Arab Republic of Egypt.
"the Customer": the natural person registered on the Platform for the purpose of booking services.
"the Provider" or "the Salon": the establishment registered on the Platform that provides beauty and grooming services.
"the Service": any beauty or grooming service provided by the Provider.
"the Booking": a request for an appointment made through the Platform and confirmed by it.
"the Deposit": a portion of the price of the Service paid in advance to confirm the Booking.
"Full Advance Payment": settlement of the entire price of the Service through the Platform at the time of Booking.
"the Wallet": the Customer's balance held on the Platform.

2. The Nature of the Platform's Role

2.1 Sallony is an intermediary technology platform that enables Customers to discover Providers and book appointments with them.
2.2 The services offered on the Platform are provided by the Providers alone and are not provided by the Company. The contractual relationship governing performance of the Service arises directly between the Customer and the Provider.
2.3 The Company does not warrant and does not bear liability for the quality of the Service provided, its outcome, or its suitability, nor for the Provider's adherence to appointment times or to standards of hygiene and safety.
2.4 Any dispute relating to the performance or quality of the Service shall be settled between the Customer and the Provider. The Company shall exercise reasonable care in facilitating communication between the two parties without being a party to the dispute.
2.5 Nothing in the foregoing derogates from the Company's liability for its own technical services, or for payments made through the Platform.

3. Eligibility and Registration

3.1 The Customer must have attained eighteen (18) years of age and must possess full legal capacity to contract.
3.2 The Customer undertakes to provide accurate and complete information, and to update it when it changes.
3.3 The telephone number is verified by means of a code sent to it, and the account remains inactive until verification is complete.
3.4 The Customer is responsible for the confidentiality of their login credentials and for all activity carried out through their account, and undertakes to notify the Company immediately upon becoming aware of any unauthorised use.
3.5 The Customer's gender is selected once at registration and is not subject to amendment, as it determines the category of Salons displayed to them.

4. Booking and Payment

4.1 A Booking is made by selecting the Salon, the Service and an available appointment, and becomes effective upon its confirmation through the Platform.
4.2 Prices are displayed in Egyptian Pounds and are set by the Provider.

Payment methods

4.3 At the time of Booking, the Customer selects one of the following methods:
(a) Payment at the Salon: no amount is paid in advance, and the full price of the Service is settled with the Provider upon receiving it.
(b) Deposit: a portion of the price of the Service is paid in advance to confirm the Booking, and the remainder is settled at the Salon.
(c) Full Advance Payment: the entire price of the Service is settled through the Platform at the time of Booking, and no amount falls due at the Salon.
4.4 Methods (b) and (c) may be settled from the Customer's Wallet or by bank transfer via InstaPay or the equivalent. Transfers are subject to review before acceptance, and the Company may reject any non-matching transfer and refund the amount where applicable.
4.5 The Platform may require a Deposit before a Booking is confirmed, in the cases set out in the booking policy published within the application, including the cases provided for in clause 5.6.
4.6 The Deposit is credited against the total price of the Service upon its completion, and the remainder is settled with the Provider at the Salon.
4.7 In the case of Full Advance Payment, no additional amount falls due at the Salon in respect of the Services covered by the Booking. Any additional service requested at the Salon outside the scope of the Booking shall be the subject of a separate agreement between the Customer and the Provider.
4.8 Confirmation of a Booking settled by bank transfer is contingent upon the transfer being reviewed and accepted, and the Booking remains pending until then.
4.9 Any amount refunded by the Company under these Terms shall be credited to the Customer's Wallet on the Platform.

5. Cancellation, Refunds and Non-Attendance

5.1 The Customer may cancel a Booking through the Platform before the appointment.
5.2 What is refunded upon cancellation: where an amount has been paid in advance — whether a Deposit or a Full Advance Payment — the proportion refunded is determined according to the period before the appointment at which the cancellation took place, in accordance with the cancellation policy tiers published within the application. The earlier the cancellation, the higher the proportion refunded.
5.3 The Deposit and Full Advance Payment are treated under the same rules in this respect: the published percentage is applied to whichever amount was paid.
5.4 The portion not refunded shall accrue to the Provider by way of compensation for the reserved time.
5.5 Cancellation by the Provider or the Company: where a Booking is cancelled by the Provider or by the Company, the Customer shall be refunded the full amount paid, whatever the timing of the cancellation.

5.6 Late cancellation and non-attendance:

(a) Cancellation within the shortest published period before the appointment shall be recorded as a violation against the Customer's account.
(b) Failure to attend without cancelling shall be recorded as a violation of higher weighting, and any amount paid in advance may be forfeited in whole or in part in favour of the Provider.
(c) Upon reaching a specified number of violations within the period prescribed in the Platform's settings, the Customer shall be required to pay a Deposit on every subsequent Booking for a specified period; and upon reaching a higher threshold, their ability to book shall be temporarily suspended.
(d) A violation lapses automatically upon expiry of the period prescribed in the Platform's settings.
5.7 The numerical values for all of the foregoing — the cancellation tiers and their percentages, the violation counts, and the penalty periods — are published within the application. The Company may amend them, giving notice to Customers before the amendment takes effect. Amendments shall not apply retrospectively to existing Bookings.

6. Loyalty Points

6.1 Points are awarded upon completion of Bookings, and additional points may be awarded for advance payment or for punctuality.
6.2 Points are not money, have no monetary value, and are neither transferable nor inheritable.
6.3 Points may be redeemed for the rewards published within the application in accordance with the conditions of each reward. Redemption may be subject to administrative review.
6.4 The Company may amend the value of points or the rules for earning them, or terminate the programme in its entirety, upon reasonable prior notice, and no right to compensation shall arise as a result.
6.5 The Company may cancel points or rewards obtained by means of fraud or abuse.

7. Reviews and Content

7.1 The Customer may review the Service after receiving it.
7.2 A review expresses the Customer's personal opinion, and the Customer undertakes that it shall be truthful and free of insult, defamation or unlawful content.
7.3 The Customer grants the Company a non-exclusive licence to display their review on the Platform.
7.4 The Company may hide or delete any review that contravenes these Terms or the law.
7.5 False, paid or manipulated reviews are prohibited.

8. Prohibited Use

The Customer is prohibited from:

8.1 Using the Platform for any unlawful purpose.
8.2 Using automated tools to harvest data or create accounts.
8.3 Attempting to breach the Platform, disrupt it, or circumvent its access restrictions.
8.4 Impersonating others or using data they do not own.
8.5 Making fictitious Bookings or Bookings intended to harm Providers.

9. Suspension and Termination of the Account

9.1 The Company may suspend or terminate the account upon a breach of these Terms, upon suspicion of fraudulent activity, or upon the request of a judicial or regulatory authority.
9.2 The Customer may request deletion of their account at any time in accordance with what is set out in the Privacy Policy.
9.3 Termination of the account does not derogate from the financial obligations outstanding at the time of termination.
9.4 Wallet balances outstanding at the time of termination shall be settled in accordance with the published procedures.

10. Limitations of Liability

10.1 The Platform is provided "as is", and the Company does not warrant that it will operate without interruption or be free of errors.
10.2 The Company shall not be liable for damages arising from interruption of the service for technical reasons or for reasons beyond its control.
10.3 No provision of this document that contravenes a mandatory rule of Egyptian law shall be given effect, and in particular the provisions of the Consumer Protection Law and the Personal Data Protection Law.
10.4 The Company shall not be liable for damages arising from the fault or negligence of the Provider.

11. Intellectual Property

11.1 All intellectual property rights in the Platform — including the trade name, the marks, the design and the software — are owned by the Company.
11.2 Copying, amending or republishing any part of the Platform without written permission is prohibited.

12. Amendment of the Terms

12.1 The Company has the right to amend these Terms.
12.2 Customers shall be notified of any material amendment through the application or by email before it takes effect.
12.3 Upon a material amendment, the Customer shall be asked to accept the new version, and the date of their acceptance and the number of the version they accepted shall be recorded.
12.4 Continued use of the Platform after the amendment takes effect shall be deemed acceptance of it.

13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

13.1 Egyptian law applies, and jurisdiction lies with the courts of Cairo, Arab Republic of Egypt.
